  8. Madurai is an energetic, ancient city on the banks of Vaigai River in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.   10. Tiruchirappalli, also called Tiruchi or Trichy, is a city in Tamil Nadu, located 322 kilometres south of Chennai and 379 kilometres north of Kanyakumari. Tiruchirappalli International Airport is located on Tiruchirappalli-Pudukkottai National Highway 336, about 5 km from the city centre.

     

  11. Vijayawada is a city in the southeast Indian state of Andhra Pradesh known for the ornate Kanaka Durga Temple, which sits atop a hill overlooking the city. The airport is located at Gannavaran, where National Highway 16 connecting Chennai to Kolkata passes through. 

  12. Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) is the capital city of Maharashtra. Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is located 30km (19 miles) north of central Mumbai.
